Everett woman who struck pole in Clinton while drunk before leaving scene told police, “it is all their fault, they made me drink, they wanted to get me in trouble”

Maria Dos Santos, 54, of Everett, told police she was forced to drink after she crashed into a utility pole in Clinton, left the scene, then refused to pull over for police while driving at an incredibly low rate of speed. She now faces six charges, including OUI, leaving the scene of property damage, and fail to stop for police.
