BEDFORD — On Sunday, September 7, 2025, at approximately 6:06 a.m., Bedford police were dispatched to the intersection of South Road and Loomis Street following a report of a crash involving a pedestrian.
According to a statement from the Bedford Police Department, when officers arrived on scene, they located a male pedestrian suffering from serious injuries. He was transported by a Bedford Fire Department ambulance to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington.
“The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and has cooperated with investigators,” the Bedford Police Department said in its statement.
The crash is under investigation by the Bedford Police Department’s Detective Division and the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section.
