Sergeant Nick Parker and Officer Daniel D’Eon also responded to the scene.

“Dispatch relayed the caller was the male involved and he reported his wife was throwing things at him and was intoxicated,” Officer Monis said. “I arrived on scene with Sergeant Parker and we were met at the door by the caller, Gary Saindon. Gary reported that his wife, Rosemarie Saindon, had an argument and she assaulted him by throwing a dog urn at him.”

According to police, Rosemarie Saindon, 59, is a resident of Simonne Lane in Pepperell, MA.

“He reported it hit his right elbow causing swelling and pain. In addition, Gary reported that Rosemarie threw multiple objects around the living room including the dog urn and photo frames from the walls,” Officer Monis said.

Officer Monis said that when he entered the living room, he observed that objects—including picture frames and a dog urn—had been thrown around the room and were broken.

“Gary reported that Rosemarie was heavily intoxicated and that she has an issue with alcohol abuse,” Officer Monis said. “Gary stated there was no additional physical contact between him and Rosemarie this evening. Rosemarie was located in the upstairs bathroom on the toilet. I talked to Rosemarie through the door and asked her to finish up and come out to speak with us.”

Officer Monis said that Rosemarie was “immediately belligerent and verbally aggressive” with him, and that she eventually exited the bathroom and spoke with him.

“I asked her what happened and she said nothing other than she wants a divorce,” Officer Monis said. “She then continued to make expletive comments at Sergeant Parker and myself before eventually stating, ‘Yeah, I threw everything at him.’ I told Rosemarie she was under arrest and she attempted to walk away into the bedroom.”

Officer Monis said that he was able to quickly grab her, and with Sergeant Parker’s assistance, Rosemarie was placed in handcuffs without incident. Rosemarie was then escorted out of her residence and transported to the Pepperell Police Department for booking.

“Officer D’Eon remained on scene to provide Gary with his 209A [abuse prevention order] rights and photograph the scene,” Officer Morin said.

Officer Morin said that during booking, Rosemarie continued to be “belligerent and verbally aggressive but did follow our commands.”

“Throughout the booking process she was slurring her words, unsteady on her feet, and had a strong odor of alcoholic beverage coming from her person,” Officer Morin said. “Several times during booking she made statements that, ‘If I had a gun, I’d blow his brains out.’ She subsequently asked us to call her daughter to get her upon release on bail. Both of her daughters stated they would like her to remain in custody and be transported to court in the morning where they will attend. Bail Commissioner Matthew Day was contacted and stated Rosemarie could be released on personal recognizance but would need another party to take care of her. He was advised the only people Rosemarie mentioned were her daughters and they refused to pick her up.”

Officer Morin said Rosemarie was placed into a holding cell to await transport to her arraignment in Ayer District Court in the morning.

Rosemarie Saindon, 59, of Pepperell, was charged with the following:

  • Assault & Battery with Dangerous Weapon 60+ (for throwing a dog urn at her husband, who was over 60 years old)
  • Assault & Battery on Family/Household Member

Rosemarie was arraigned in Ayer District Court on Feb. 11, 2026. Following her arraignment, Saindon was released on personal recognizance under the condition that she abide by the abuse prevention order, refrain from alcohol, report to probation within 24 hours of her, and submit to SCRAM monitoring with three daily tests.

Her next court date was a pretrial hearing scheduled for March 13, 2026.
