WORCESTER — On Monday, April 6, 2026, at approximately 6:15 p.m., Worcester police responded to Laurel Street following a report of an assault involving a firearm.
According to the Worcester Police Department, the victim told police that four males in a motor vehicle approached and attempted to rob him while displaying a firearm.
Police said officers located the suspect vehicle on Orient Street and conducted a high-risk motor vehicle stop with assistance from multiple officers.
Four juvenile males were removed from the vehicle and detained, according to Worcester police. Investigators recovered one handgun from one of the suspects and found a second handgun inside the vehicle.
All four juveniles were arrested and “charged accordingly,” police said.
The Worcester Police Department’s Crime Scene Unit responded to recover the firearms.
