Donald Trump’s call to his supporters to “guard” and “watch” ballot counting in cities with large Black populations has raised alarms among elections officials and voting rights advocates bracing for more threats to elections fuelled by his bogus narrative of widespread fraud.
He falsely claimed that “they cheated like hell, they know it, and you’ll never find out all the ways but we don’t need all the ways,” adding that the “most important part of what’s coming up is to guard the vote.”
‘Everybody’s daughter’: The rape victim behind Kentucky’s viral abortion ad

Standing in the middle of a football field in mid-October, she looked out at the students of her small Christian university, stunned to be the one wearing the rhinestone tiara. Her classmates could have chosen to honor the student body president or a leading member of the local Bible study. Instead, they’d picked Hadley, the face of a viral ad about abortion and sexual abuse that had begun airing a month earlier, and would soon help Democrats hold the governor’s mansion in one of the most conservative states in the country.
Huffington Post: Donald Trump Flips Out At Robert De Niro
The former president and Republican 2024 front-runner hit back at the actor’s recent criticism of him.
Former President Donald Trump on Sunday issued a belated, unhinged response to actor Robert De Niro’s fierce criticism of him at last week’s Gotham Awards ceremony.
De Niro was surprised during his speech paying tribute to the crew and cast of his latest film “The Killers of the Flower Moon” when he found his anti-Trump comments had been cut from the autocue. The Oscar winner, who is no stranger to slamming the former president, picked up his phone and read his Trump-bashing lines anyway. He highlighted Trump’s thousands of lies.
Republican 2024 front-runner Trump hit back on his Truth Social platform at the weekend, calling De Niro a “total loser.”
“Robert De Niro, whose acting talents have greatly diminished, with his reputation now shot, must even use a teleprompter for his foul and disgusting language, so disrespectful to our Country,” wrote Trump.

The past often repeats itself in interesting ways.
For former Central Mass. wrestling stars Isiac Paulino and Lucien Perla, their past is repeating in the duo becoming teammates again at the collegiate level.
Paulino won a New England title at Monty Tech, while Perla claimed a state title while at Nashoba Regional. They wrestled together in the Fitchburg youth program in their early days, coming up and building their skills, and then they wrestled for Doughboy Wrestling Club in Lowell in the offseason.
Despite participating for on competing programs in high school, Paulino and Perla returned to their youth grappler roots by deciding to wrestle collegiately as teammates at Springfield College.
“It feels good to be teammates again,” said Perla, who wrestles at 149 pounds. “Isiac’s a longtime friend so being back on the same team with him has been great. It’s like we are brothers.”
“I’ve been competing with Lucien for years now,” Paulino, a 125-pound grappler, added. “He’s a brother to me at this point.”
