ASHBY — A woman was found dead outside of a residence in Ashby Thursday afternoon.
Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan announced that on Thursday, March 14, at approximately 12:55 p.m., Ashby police responded to a Richardson Road residence following a report that an unresponsive woman was outside the home.
When police arrived on scene, they located an unresponsive, 58-year-old woman, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Ryan said that although the investigation is ongoing, the preliminary investigation indicates that the death does not appear to be suspicious in nature and there is no ongoing threat to the public.
The investigation is being conducted by the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, Massachusetts State Police Detectives assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, and Ashby Police.
