On January 27, 2025, the Leominster District Court issued a search warrant for 38-year-old Kerri Harrington and her apartment at 51 Pearl Street, Unit 8, in Leominster. The warrant authorized the search for fentanyl, a Class A controlled substance under Massachusetts law, along with items associated with its distribution.
The search warrant was granted based on probable cause developed during an investigation into Harringtonโs suspected fentanyl sales. Throughout this investigation, police say Harrington sold fentanyl to a confidential source on three separate occasions from her apartment on Pearl Street.

- 20 grams (gross weight) of a white, chunky, and powdery substance, believed to be cocaine
- 22 grams (gross weight) of blue capsule pills containing a white powder, believed to be MDMA

- One orange pill, believed to be clonazepam (Klonopin)
- One purple pill marked “L,” believed to be a Class E substance
- Two digital scales
- โThrough training and experience, I have learned that drug dealers will possess a scale to weigh the drugs before packaging for distribution,โ Det. Monahan said.
- 1 box of sandwich bags
- โIndividuals involved in the distribution of drugs utilize plastic baggies as a means of packaging the drugs,โ Det. Monahan said. โFurthermore, it has been my experience that boxes of baggies are rarely kept in non-traditional locations in the residence such as bedrooms, living areas and bathrooms.โ
โBased on my training and experience, having this amount of narcotics in one’s possession along with the scales and sandwich bags is consistent with the intent to distribute,โ Det. Monahan added.
Harrington was subsequently placed under arrest, transported to the Leominster Police Department, and charged with:
- Heroin/Morphine/Opium/Fentanyl, Trafficking in 36 Grams or More, less than 100 Grams (Fentanyl)

According to Leominster Police Lieutenant Michael Ciccolini, Harrington appeared impaired at the booking desk, prompting him to call an ambulance. She was cleared and declined medical treatment.
โShe did state she was two months pregnant,โ Ciccolini added.
Officer Matthew Fallon noted that during booking, Harrington said she was pregnant and admitted to using heroin between 3:00 and 4:00 a.m. that morning.
Harrington was scheduled to be arraigned at 8:30 a.m. on January 29, 2025, in Leominster District Court.
