BOSTON — A Littleton man has been sentenced to 10 years in federal prison for trafficking cocaine and illegal firearms, including multiple ghost guns and an assault rifle, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts.
Alan Robinson, 26, pleaded guilty in January to possession with intent to distribute controlled substances, firearms trafficking, and knowingly and intentionally possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime. He was sentenced Tuesday in federal court in Boston by U.S. Senior District Court Judge William G. Young and will also serve five years of supervised release following his prison term.

Prosecutors say Robinson sold four firearms—including two ghost guns, one of which was an assault rifle—to a cooperating witness despite knowing the buyer was prohibited from possessing firearms. During a subsequent search of Robinson’s residence, authorities seized approximately 3.3 kilograms of powdered cocaine, several firearms, and accessories.

The case was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) with assistance from the Boston Police Department and Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department. Assistant U.S. Attorney Luke A. Goldworm of the Major Crimes Unit prosecuted the case.
