WESTMINSTER — A large truck overturned on Route 2 westbound near mile marker 91 on today, forcing traffic into the breakdown lane and prompting a response from multiple emergency agencies, according to the Westminster Police Department.
The crash occurred between exits 92 and 90 at roughly 3:30 p.m. on July 9, 2025, and drivers were advised to expect delays and use caution while traveling through the area. Emergency personnel were on scene assessing the situation and managing traffic.

A photo released by the Westminster Police Department shows the truck lying on its side across the westbound lanes, blocking at least two lanes of travel. Several responders can be seen standing near the vehicle, and debris is scattered along the shoulder of the highway.
The Westminster Fire Department and Department of Public Works also responded to the crash.
No details were immediately available regarding injuries or the cause of the crash.
