WILBRAHAM — At approximately 7:15 a.m. on October 3, 2025, Wilbraham police responded to a Crane Hill Road residence after receiving reports that a man had threatened another person with a firearm.
According to a statement from the Wilbraham Police Chief Edward Lennon, when officers arrived on scene, they encountered an armed male who was actively firing a gun.
“Due to the nature of the threat, assistance was requested from the Massachusetts State Police Special Tactical Operations Team,” Chief Lennon said in the statement. “After several hours of coordinated response, the suspect was safely taken into custody at approximately 12:30 p.m.”
No injuries were reported during the incident.
The incident remains under investigation by the Wilbraham Police Department.
