The jury acquitted her of one count of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14. Following the verdict, her bail was revoked, and she was taken into custody.

According to the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office, the rapes took place in 2015 in Charlton while Wright-Craft was fostering the victim. Wright-Craft was arrested and charged in Dudley District Court in August 2017 before she was indicted in Worcester Superior Court in March 2018.

“Assistant District Attorney Thomas Ayres and Victim Witness Advocate Rachel Murphy did an excellent job on this case,” Worcester County District Attorney Early said. “I also want to recognize the great investigative work conducted by the Charlton Police Department on the case.”
