BOSTON — On Monday, Feb. 2, 2026, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts announced that a Webster man has been charged with dealing in firearms without a license.
Anthony “AJ” Pietrowski, 24, was charged by criminal complaint with one count of dealing in firearms without a license. Pietrowski made an initial appearance in federal court in Worcester on Jan. 30, 2026.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, charging documents state that the investigation into Pietrowski began in the summer of 2025. Prosecutors allege that Pietrowski sold multiple firearms, including a machinegun conversion device, to an undercover agent on four occasions in Webster.
The charge of unlicensed dealing in firearms carries a potential sentence of up to five years in prison, three years of supervised release and a fine of up to $250,000.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Zachary Stendig of the Worcester Branch Office of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts is prosecuting the case.
“This case is part of the Homeland Security Task Force (HSTF) initiative established by Executive Order 14159, Protecting the American People Against Invasion,” the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts said in a statement. The HSTF is described as a whole-of-government partnership focused on eliminating criminal cartels, foreign gangs, transnational criminal organizations, and human smuggling and trafficking networks operating in the United States and abroad.
