SHREWSBURY — On Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at approximately 6:13 p.m., Shrewsbury Police Officer Eric Sloan was on patrol when he observed a blue sedan with Florida plates idling in the driveway of the house located at 27 Lake View Avenue.

“This house is extremely well known to officers in this department for drug activity,” Officer Sloan said.
Officer Sloan said he observed two women in the vehicle who had not moved for several minutes.
“I approached the vehicle and observed the two females to be sleeping with drug paraphernalia in plain view,” Officer Sloan said.
Officer Sloan observed a bong in the lap of the woman in the driver’s seat. A broken piece of a crack pipe was lodged in the bong’s mouthpiece, and a folded piece of aluminum foil, commonly used to store narcotics, was also in her lap.
“Once both occupants were removed from the vehicle, what appeared to be purple fentanyl was located in the folded piece of tin foil,” Officer Sloan said. “Additionally, a second piece of tin foil containing what appeared to be crack cocaine was located in a black backpack. Due to this, the driver, who was identified as Jillian Hanlon, was placed in custody.”
According to police, Jillian E. Hanlon, 27, is a resident of Framingham, MA.
Hanlon was arrested and charged with the following:
- Possess Class A Drug, Subsequent Offense
- Possess Class B Drug, Subsequent Offense
Hanlon’s arraignment was scheduled for July 15, 2026, in Westborough District Court.
