LEOMINSTER — A pedestrian was struck and killed by a pickup truck outside of the Walmart on Jungle Road in Leominster Monday night.
According to a statement from Scott Croteau, the deputy communications director of the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office, at 7:30 p.m., Arthur Andrews, 74, of Sterling, died after he was struck in the parking lot. The driver of the pickup truck, a 66-year-old man, was transported to the hospital.
The driver is not being identified at the present time, according to the Worcester District Attorney’s Office. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
