Here’s a comprehensive list of all the fireworks displays taking place in North Central Massachusetts this year:
Clinton: July 9 at dusk, Clinton Veteran’s Athletic Complex, Clinton Middle and High School
Fitchburg: Fireworks will be the grand finale of Fitchburg’s Block Party celebration at around 10 p.m. on Sunday, July 3, 2022. The Block Party kicks off on upper Main Street at 4:30 p.m. The fireworks will be launched from Rollstone Hill off Pratt Road. The following streets are good places to get a view of the Block Party’s fireworks display: Main Street, Boulder Drive, Riverfront Park and River Street.
Groton: Groton’s Annual Fireworks Festival will be held on Monday, July 11, 2022, at the Town Field behind the library. Activities, food and entertainment begin at 6 p.m., fireworks are expected to start at around 9:15 p.m. A raindate is scheduled for July 7, 2022.
Harvard: When: July 4, 2022 Time: 9:15 p.m. Where: Fruitlands Museum, 102 Prospect Hill Road
Leominster: Fireworks in Leominster this year will be part of the city’s Starburst celebration on August 27 at Doyle Field located at 100 Priest Street. An exact time has not been set yet, but the city clerk said it’s likely to start at dusk.
Orange: Fireworks in Orange will take place at the Traditional 4th of July Laffond Family Reunion on Saturday, July 2, 2022. The event begins at 11:00 a.m. and ends at 8 p.m. at the Orange Gun Club. Phillipston: The Brew Barn and Cidery will be holding a 4th of July celebration on Monday, July 4, 2022 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at 455 Highland Avenue. (I reached out to the Brew Barn and town to see if there will be fireworks this year. I am waiting to hear back).
