LEOMINSTER — Paranormal activity isn’t limited to Skinwalker Ranch.
Deep in Leominster State Forest is a locus dubbed “Monsterland” by locals who believe it’s a site of paranormal activity, perhaps a link to another dimension.
One Leominster native, Ronny Le Blanc, was so inspired by what he believes was a Big Foot sighting in “Monsterland” when he was 11-years-old, that he’s dedicated his life to finding the real Sasquatch.
“I would go with friends to ride bikes. There’s a particular trail that I would go down,” Le Blanc told CBS Boston. “Within seconds the forest erupted in front of me. Trees and shrubs were moving. I started to feel these reverberations in the soles of my feet of something walking.”
According to Le Blanc, there have been Big Foot sightings in “Monsterland” going back to the late 1800s. He even helped cast a potential Sasquatch footprint in Leominster State Forest about a decade ago.
His search isn’t limited to Leominster, Le Blanc has been all over the country on the hunt for Big Foot.
“I think because these things have happened to me personally, it’s created this obsession where I need to find out more,” he said.
And it isn’t just Sasquatch that Le Blanc believes has made an appearance in Leominster. He believes “Monsterland” may be a link to UFOs and another dimension.
“This is something more alien, something more interdimensional,” said Le Blanc. “Ninety-nine percent of these could all be made up. But if you have that one that is legit, this whole thing is real. Then it’s a game-changer and it’s a paradigm shift on how we see the world and how we fit in it in this universe, really.”
