LEOMINSTER – According to the Worcester District Registry of Deeds, an affiliate of Harbor Classic Homes of Leominster purchased a property on 86 Maple Avenue in Rutland for $1.65 million on Tuesday.
The Maple Avenue site once located the Rutland Heights State Hospital, which was demolished in 2004, the Worcester Business Journal reports.
The developer plans on turning the property into a 142-unit duplex senior housing development with a community center, amenities and 100 visitor parking spots.
