Princeton man dies after crashing into tree in Orange

ORANGE — A Princeton man lost his life after his truck struck a tree on Tully Road Thursday morning.

According to Northwestern District Attorney David E. Sullivan, the accident took place at approximately 10:30 a.m. on December 7 at the intersection of Tully and Fryeville roads. The 76-year-old victim, whose identity remains undisclosed, was the sole occupant of the vehicle at the time of the incident.

Orange ambulance personnel transported the man to Athol Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Massachusetts State Police, Orange police and Orange Fire Department personnel responded to the crash.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
