AYER — One person was sent to the hospital after a car crashed into K. Porter & Company, a hair salon on Main Street Wednesday afternoon.
Employees were in the hair salon at the time of the accident, but no one was hurt. The individual who was sent to the hospital with minor injuries was an occupant of the vehicle.
“Thank you to the Ayer police, Ayer fire, EMT’s and everyone that helped last night to secure the building after a car crashed into the salon,” K. Porter & Company said on Facebook Thursday morning. “We are all so thankful that everyone is okay.”
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
