A model and social media influencer has filed a lawsuit against Tyreek Hill, a player for the Miami Dolphins, alleging that he pushed her, resulting in a broken leg.
The model, Sophie Hall, is seeking damages in excess of $50,000, according to the lawsuit, submitted on February 23 in Broward County Circuit Court. She claims Hill caused an injury during a “football lesson” at his property in Florida on June 28, 2023.
According to the complaint, Hall met Hill through a football camp organized by Hill, where she brought her son. She was later invited to Hill’s residence. During a visit, she participated in a football blocking drill with Hill, who was pushed backwards, causing laughter among those watching.
In the filing, Hall alleges that the athlete reacted with anger, seemingly humiliated by being destabilized by a woman’s contact. Her attorneys mention that Hill then initiated three additional drills with Hall, culminating in him forcefully colliding with her, causing substantial and severe injuries.
Hall’s legal representation asserts that Hill minimized the seriousness of her injuries, advising her to rest in a bed at his home until arrangements for her departure could be made. After returning home, Hall was diagnosed with a right leg fracture by an orthopedic doctor.
Tyreek Hill, 29, is recognized as one of the NFL’s leading receivers, having achieved five All-Pro selections and Pro Bowl appearances in each of his eight seasons. He began his career with the Kansas City Chiefs and was traded to the Miami Dolphins in 2022, where he has maintained his performance level.
Hill has faced legal issues previously. In 2015, he entered a guilty plea to domestic assault and battery charges after an incident involving his then-pregnant fiancée. In 2019, the Kansas City Chiefs suspended him following allegations of physical abuse towards his son.
