SHREWSBURY — According to Shrewsbury police, on Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2023, Matthew Tucci, of Boylston, broke into 105 Hartford Turnpike, a property owned by 69-year-old physicist Dr. Sergei Krivoshlykov.
Dr. Krivoshlykov is the president of Anteos, Inc., a Shrewsbury-based company founded in 2006 that specializes in commercial physical and biological research.
According to the Secretary of State’s Office, Anteos, Inc.’s primary address is 1 Chartwell Circle, Shrewsbury. PropertyIQ.com say Anteos, Inc. also operates out of 105 Hartford Turnpike.
According to Shrewsbury police’s Statement of Facts for the incident, after Tucci broke into Dr. Krivoshlykov’s residence, he nailed a 2×4 wooden board into the floor, in such a way that it prevented anyone from opening the front door, which is where the lock box of the building is kept.
Tucci was arrested and charged with breaking & entering daytime and defacing or damaging property.

Tucci, 41, of 65 E Temple Street, Boylston, is a married Level 3 sex offender with a lengthy rap sheet which includes charges of dealing heroin and failing to register as a sex offender.
According to the Vineyard Gazette, in 2002, while living in Edgartown, Martha’s Vineyard, Tucci was convicted on charges related to the the rape of a 15-year-old girl, after which he was sentenced to five years in prison and ordered to register as a Level 3 sex offender. Tucci initially registered as a sex offender in Boylston, which is his primary address.
