LEOMINSTER — At around 7:00 a.m. this morning, three vehicles were involved in an accident on New Lancaster Road.
According to Gary Fournier, a longtime photojournalist from the area who responded to the scene, a small MART bus was also involved in the accident, but it sustained minor damage, while the other vehicles, a sedan and an SUV, sustained serious damage.
Three people were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A family dispute over ordering another margarita at the Texas Roadhouse restaurant in Leominster restaurant escalated into a parking lot confrontation, resulting in an arrest and multiple charges, including assault and disturbing the peace.
A Leominster woman suffered severe injuries to her arms and hand after being attacked by her family’s pit bull. Police and firefighters responded to the scene, and the dog was taken into custody.
A 60-year-old Leominster man has been sentenced to jail after repeatedly trespassing at AL Prime, where he would ask for money, and Niki’s Liquors, where he often sat on the steps. Court records show he was charged at least seven times between June and August 2024 for violating trespass orders.
