LEOMINSTER — A man caught on surveillance footage robbing the Santander Bank in Leominster earlier this month has been arrested.
According to a statement from the Leominster Police Department, an in-depth investigation by the Leominster Police Criminal Investigations Bureau led to the development of probable cause, resulting in the issuance of an arrest warrant for Dennis Lopez, 38, of Fitchburg, for masked armed robbery. The Fitchburg Police Department arrested Lopez this past weekend on the warrant.
On around Jan. 15, 2025, the Leominster Police Department issued a statement asking for the public’s assistance in identifying an individual who was caught on surveillance video committing an armed robbery at the bank, which is located at 11 Park Street.
