Worcester man arrested for trafficking fentanyl, cocaine in Leominster drug sting near Summer Street

LEOMINSTER โ€” On Friday, January 10, 2025, members of the North Worcester County Drug Task Force and Massachusetts State Police were conducting surveillance near 45 Summer Street, an area known for drug activity. During their operation, police spotted a vehicle known to them from prior drug-related incidents and past surveillance.

โ€œThe vehicle had a Connecticut license plate, on a 2023 Toyota Corolla, color silver, which came back to EAN Holding which is a rental car company,โ€ Officer Monahan said. โ€œThe vehicle had two occupants, a male driver, and female passenger.โ€

According to Officer Monahan, the vehicle pulled into the parking area of 45 Summer Street, where it remained for a few minutes.  

โ€œA male party was then observed walking up to the vehicle and retrieved what appeared to be cash money from his right front pocket,โ€ Officer Monahan said.

The man then enters the rear passenger side of the vehicle, where he is seen making a quick hand-to-hand transaction with the driver, and exits about a minute later.

โ€œBased on my training and experience, I believed this to be a drug transaction coming from a vehicle that was under surveillance,โ€ Officer Monahan said. โ€œLaw enforcement officials conducted a motor vehicle stop as the vehicle was exiting the parking area of 45 Summer Street. Subsequent to that motor vehicle stop, the driver was identified as Jimmy Good.โ€

According to police, Jimmy I. Good, 35, is a resident of 85 Malden Street, Worcester, MA.

According to Officer Monahan, Good had the following in his possession:

  • 25.01 grams (gross weight) of suspected fentanyl
  • 24.95 grams (gross weight) of suspected crack cocaine
  • 2.18 grams (gross weight) of suspected cocaine
  • 2.04 grams (gross weight) of suspected fentanyl pills

Officer Monahan added, โ€œ0.43 grams (gross weight) of crack cocaine was located in Mr. Good’s jacket pocket. The remaining suspected drugs were located in a clear, plastic sandwich bag, in the crotch area of Mr. Good.โ€

Good was subsequently placed under arrest for the following:

  1. Heroin/Morphine/Opium/Fentanyl, Trafficking in 18 Grams or More, Less than 36 Grams
  2. Cocaine, Trafficking in 18 Grams or More, Less Than 36 Grams
  3. Possesses to Distribute Class A Drug
  4. Possesses to Distribute Class B Drug

Good was arraigned in Leominster District Court on the day of his arrest, January 10, 2025.
