NORTHBRIDGE — A Northbridge resident was arraigned today on a charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred yesterday, according to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early, Jr.
Christopher Lacour, 33, was arraigned in Uxbridge District Court, where a judge set bail at $10,000 cash. His next court appearance is a pretrial conference scheduled for June 23, 2025.
The incident remains under active investigation by Northbridge Police and Massachusetts State Police Detectives assigned to the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has accepted the case, and an autopsy is pending.
No further information is being released at this time, according to the district attorney’s office.
