Offier Fredette and Officer Scott Dubrule arrived on scene and located the man – later identified as Zander Bailey – in the employee bathroom.
“Mr. Bailey was asked what he was doing inside and he stated to Officer Dubrule ‘he had to take a sh*t,'” Officer Fredette said.
According to police, Zander Bailey, 19, is a resident of New Sherborn Road in Athol, MA.

“It should be noted that the Athol Police Department have been to PEXCO multiple times for Mr. Zander Bailey who had been served a no trespass order and continued to go inside the property,” Officer Fredette said.

Court documents obtained by News Link Live show that PEXCO staff reported Bailey trespassing on company property on at least three occasions since January:
January 17, 2025:
Police verbally trespassed Bailey from PEXCO after a caller reported that a man was repeatedly entering the building without permission, accessing the break room, and then leaving.
February 19, 2025:
- A PEXCO human resources employee contacted police to request a formal no-trespass order.
- The employee reported that Bailey had entered the office again, gone into the break room, rummaged through drawers, and then stepped outside to smoke a cigarette.
- The HR representative was directed to the Athol Police Station to complete no-trespass paperwork, which was finalized that same day.
February 28, 2025:
A PEXCO human resources representative called police to report that Bailey had returned to the property once again.
Officer Fredette reported that after Bailey was found in the PEXCO bathroom on May 13, he exited and was taken into custody without incident.
Bailey was charged with the following, Officer Fredette’s reasoning for the charge is provided in quotations:
- Trespass After Notice: “For Mr. Bailey being inside the property with having an active no trespass order and knowing he is not allowed inside the property from prior law enforcement interactions,” Officer Fredette said.
Bailey was arraigned in Orange District Court on May 13, 2025. Following his arraignment, he was released on personal recognizance. His next court date is a pretrial hearing scheduled for June 23, 2025.
The available court documents contain no reference to any employment relationship between Bailey and PEXCO.
