“Officer [Max] Rameau and Detective [David] Leblanc are currently investigating a child pornography incident in which [the woman’s] daughter is the victim,” Officer Furey said. “[The woman] explained to me that she obtained a harassment prevention order on behalf of her minor daughter.”

Officer Furey said the order was granted by the Gardner District Court that day – May 27, 2025 – at 4:06 p.m.

Officer Furey stated that the harassment prevention order prohibited the defendant from contacting the plaintiff “in person, by telephone, in writing, electronically, or otherwise, either directly or through someone else.”

“The defendant, Mason Myllykangas resides in Leominster, MA, and the order was sent to Leominster police for service,” Officer Furey said.

According to police, Mason Myllykangas, 19, resides at 110 Boutelle Street in Leominster, MA.

“I contacted Leominster police on [the mother’s] behalf and inquired if the order had been served, which it had not,” Officer Furey said. “I provided Leominster Police Dispatch with [the woman’s] phone [number] and requested she be contacted once the order was served.”

At 9:26 p.m., Officer Furey was advised by dispatch that woman had called to report she had just spoken with Leominster police, who informed her that Mason had been served.

“Immediately after the phone call, Mason began sending multiple text messages to [the woman’s] daughter,” Officer Furey said. “I requested dispatch contact the Leominster police to determine if the order had been served.”

Officer Furey then responded to the victim’s mother’s Westminster residence to see the text messages that were allegedly sent by Mason to her daughter.

Officer Furey stated that, prior to arriving at the victim’s residence, dispatch had informed him that Mason had been served the order and that Leominster police had contacted the victim’s mother. He said the order was served to Mason in hand at 9:24 p.m. by Officer Kyle Klimowicz.

“I arrived on scene moments later where [the victim’s mother] showed me the text messages on the phone, to include messages such as, ‘Harassment order?’ ‘Getting leaked,’ ‘F*ck you,’ ‘I hate you,’ ‘You’re such a b*tch,’ ‘You lying c*nt,’” Officer Furey said. “These messages were sent from the contact listed ‘Mason.’ Text messages were coming through in real time as I stood looking at the phone.”

Officer Furey said the victim’s mother took screen shots of the messages and sent them to him via email.

“I cleared from the residence and informed dispatch that I had probable cause to arrest Mason Myllykangas for a violation of a harassment prevention order,” Officer Furey said. “I requested dispatch contact the Leominster police to take Mason into custody wherein I would go to Leominster to take custody of Mason and transport him back to the station for booking. Dispatch advised that Leominster police would make the arrest and return to their station for booking, after which I could take custody. I responded to the Leominster Police Headquarters to await their arrival.”

Mason was charged with:

  • Violation of Harassment Prevention Order
