Worcester man faces cocaine trafficking and firearms charges after early morning raid

WORCESTER — A 36-year-old man is facing multiple firearms and drug trafficking charges following an early morning raid at an apartment on Hulbert Road, according to the Worcester Police Department.

In a statement, police said the search took place around 1 a.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2025, when members of the Worcester Police Department Crime Gun Intelligence Unit and Gang Unit executed a search warrant at 11A Hulbert Road. The operation stemmed from an ongoing joint investigation into illegal gun possession and drug distribution, involving Worcester police, the Massachusetts State Police, and the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office.

During the search, detectives recovered two semiautomatic firearms, four loaded magazines, and more than 200 grams of cocaine.

As a result, Phuc Truong, 36, will be charged with multiple firearm offenses, including use of a firearm during the commission of a felony, as well as trafficking in cocaine over 200 grams, police said.
