MILFORD — On Sunday, August 31, 2025, at approximately 7:51 a.m., the Milford Public Safety Communications Center received a 911 call requesting a well-being check at the Louisa Lake disc golf course, located off the Upper Charles River Bike Path near Louisa Lake.
According to a statement from the Milford Police Department, when officers arrived on scene, they located a deceased 39-year-old male.
“There is no danger to the public. Milford police detectives, along with the Massachusetts State Police, had the area closed off for investigatory purposes, but there was no nefarious act,” Milford’s Police Chief Robert Tusino said.
Milford police reopened that section of the Upper Charles Trail around 11 a.m.
The incident remains under investigation.
