BOSTON — A federal grand jury in Boston today indicted a New Bedford man for possessing a Glock pistol and ammunition on the grounds of an elementary school in Foxborough earlier this summer.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts announced in a statement that Jameel Clark-White, 32, was indicted on one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition and one count of possessing a firearm in a school zone. He is scheduled to appear in federal court in Boston at a later date.
According to the indictment, Clark-White allegedly possessed a .45-caliber Glock 41 pistol and 49 rounds of .45-caliber ammunition within 1,000 feet of the Charles G. Taylor Elementary School on June 12, 2025. The indictment further alleges he had a prior felony conviction.
The felon-in-possession charge provides a sentence of up to 15 years in prison, three years of supervised release, and a $250,000 fine. The school-zone charge is punishable by up to five years in prison, one year of supervised release, and a fine of up to $100,000.
Assistant U.S. Attorney David Cutshall of the Organized Crime and Gang Unit is prosecuting the case.
