WORCESTER — Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early, Jr., announced yesterday, that last week, a Worcester County grand jury indicted Christopher Lacour, 33, of Northbridge, on a manslaughter charge for the fatal shooting death of his brother, Jonathan Lacour, 36, of Northbridge.

Officials say that on May 21, 2025, Northbridge police responded to Legion Way where they located Jonathan, who was suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.

In May 2025, Christopher was initially charged and arraigned in Uxbridge District Court on charges of manslaughter and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

The indictment transfers the case to Worcester Superior Court, where Christopher is scheduled to be arraigned on Oct. 21, 2025.

This is the second indictment involving a fatal shooting between brothers that Early announced last night; the other incident took place last June on Beacon Street in Worcester.
