TEWKSBURY — On Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2025, at approximately 8:28 p.m., members of the Tewksbury Police Narcotics Unit and the Merrimack Valley Anti-Crime Task Force were conducting operations near 600 Ames Hill Drive as part of an ongoing investigation.
According to a statement from Tewksbury Police Chief Ryan Columbus, officers observed two individuals engaging in a suspected drug transaction. As a result, Dionviles Mejia, 25, of Lawrence, and Kaitlin Roche, 39, of Fitchburg, were arrested.

“Officers recovered 29.4 grams of fentanyl, 31.8 grams of cocaine, 15.3 grams of crack cocaine, and drug paraphernalia during the investigation,” Chief Columbus said.
Dionviles Mejia was arrested and charged with:
- Trafficking in 18 Grams or More of Heroin/Morphine/Opium/Fentanyl (two counts)
- Trafficking in 18 Grams or More of Cocaine
- Possession with Intent to Distribute of a Class B Drug, Subsequent Offense
Kaitlin Roche was arrested and charged with:
- Trafficking in 18 grams or More of Heroin/Morphine/Opium/FentanylÂ
- Trafficking in 18 grams or More of Cocaine
- Possession with Intent to Distribute of a Class B Drug
Both Mejia and Roche were arraigned in Lowell District Court on Thursday, Oct. 23, 2025.
