Teen life-flighted after altercation with ex-girlfriend’s boyfriend in Duxbury

DUXBURY — On Thursday, Dec. 11, 2025, at approximately 5:22 a.m., Duxbury police officers responded to Chandler Street following a report of an injured male who may have been struck by a vehicle.

According to a statement from Duxbury Police Chief Michael Carbone, when officers arrived on scene, they located a 19-year-old Pembroke man lying in the roadway with serious injuries. He was subsequently transported by helicopter to the hospital.

“Through interviews with several witnesses, officers learned that the individual had gone to his ex-girlfriend’s residence on Chandler Street to confront her current boyfriend,” Chief Carbone said in the statement. “An altercation ensued, during which the 19-year-old appears to have jumped onto the hood of a vehicle and was thrown from the moving vehicle.”

The incident remains under active investigation, and detectives are continuing to interview witnesses, Chief Carbone said.

No charges have been filed at this time.
