WESTBOROUGH — This afternoon, Westborough firefighters responded to a two-vehicle crash involving a utility pole in the 100 block of Nourse Street.
According to the Westborough Fire Department, the crash resulted in injuries to one occupant, who was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Fire officials said the roadway has since reopened to traffic.
Ashlyn Mercier, an Oxford native and Westborough police officer, was crowned Miss Massachusetts and is expected to compete for Miss America in September.
A car fire on Route 9 in Westborough caused traffic delays today, according to the Westborough Fire Department.
The Worcester County District Attorney’s Office has identified the man killed in Monday’s motorcycle crash at Speedway Plaza in Westborough as 26-year-old Juan Carlos Colon Jr. The investigation remains ongoing.
