ATTLEBORO — On Friday, May 29, 2026, at approximately 11:00 p.m., Attleboro firefighters responded to the area of Washington Street and Scott Road following a report of a vehicle fire.
According to the Attleboro Fire Department, when firefighters arrived on scene, they located a pickup truck fully engulfed in flames.
Crews brought the fire under control and used firefighting foam to extinguish the remaining fuel-fed fire caused by spilled vehicle fluids, the department said.

No injuries were reported.
While crews were responding to the fire, additional Attleboro Fire Department units were called to a motor vehicle crash on the I-295 northbound off-ramp to I-95.
According to the department, firefighters arrived to find a single vehicle that had struck a concrete barrier.
The vehicle’s sole occupant self-extricated before first responders arrived and was uninjured.
