MILFORD — On Thursday, June 18, 2026, at approximately 12:09 a.m., a Milford police officer observed a white Dodge Journey traveling erratically at a high rate of speed on Main Street.
According to Milford Police Chief Robert Tusino, the SUV crossed the double-yellow centerlines multiple times before it was stopped near the Hopedale-Milford town line.
When the officer approached the vehicle, the operator, identified by police as Tamra Davis, 35, of Uxbridge, allegedly became argumentative and aggressive after being asked for her license and registration. During the interaction, the officer detected a strong odor of alcohol, according to Chief Tusino.
Davis was placed under arrest at approximately 12:19 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

Chief Tusino said that during the arrest and booking process, Davis yelled threats and homophobic insults at officers at the scene.
At approximately 12:40 a.m., while receiving requested medical care, Davis allegedly attempted to bite a Coastal Ambulance EMT and later kicked another Coastal Ambulance paramedic while inside the ambulance, according to Chief Tusino.
Chief Tusino added that Davis continued to be assaultive while under arrest and awaiting care in the emergency room at UMass Milford Regional Hospital, where she allegedly yelled racial slurs at a hospital staff member.
Tamra Davis, 35, of Uxbridge, was charged with the following violations/offenses:
- Assault & Battery on Ambulance Personnel
- Assault & Battery on Police Officer
- Possess Open Container of Alcohol in Motor Vehicle
- Assault
- Disorderly Conduct
- Disturbing the Peace
- Marked Lanes Violation
- Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle
- OUI-Liquor or .08%
- Speeding
- Threat to Commit a Crime
Davis was held on $1,500 bail and taken to Milford District Court for her arraignment the morning of her arrest.
