WEBSTER โ On Friday, March 21, 2025, Detective Philip Hurton of the Webster Police Department applied for and was granted a search warrant from Dudley District Court for 58 Negus Street, Apt. 5, in Webster, MA.

โThe warrant was to search for firearms, ammunition, and documents showing occupancy and control of apartment 5. The target of the warrant was Lloyd Price,โ Det. Hurton said.
According to police, Lloyd Price, 58, is a resident of 58 Negus Street, Apt. 5, Webster, MA. Court documents indicate Price is married and was born in Worcester, MA.
According to Det. Hurton, theย Special Weapons and Tactics team of the Central Massachusetts Law Enforcement Councilย (CEMLEC SWAT) executed the search warrant at approximately 6:02 a.m. on Monday, March 24, 2025.
โCEMLEC SWAT conducted the warrant service by surrounding the residence and commanding the occupants of apartment 5 to exit,โ Det. Hurton said. โLloyd Price and Alan Hamel complied with the commands. There was no one else inside of the apartment.โ

Det. Hurton said Price and Hamel were each detained in handcuffs, searched, and provided a Miranda warning.
โA search of the apartment yielded a Jennings .22 caliber handgun loaded with six bullets and a glass vial containing a small amount of suspected cocaine,โ Det. Hurton said. Adding, โHamel does not reside at the apartment and was released from the scene. Price does not have a license to carry or a firearms identification card. Officer [Alex] Johnson transported Price to the police station, and Officer Patrick Trainor booked him without incident.โ

- Possess Ammunition without FID Card
- Ammunition Unattended
- Possess Class B Drug, Subsequent Offense
- Possess Firearm without FID Card
Price was arraigned in Dudley District Court on March 24, 2025. Following his arraignment, he was released on $2,500 cash bail under the condition that he possess no firearms. His next scheduled court appearance was a pretrial hearing schedule for April 18, 2025.
