โUpon arrival, I observed a female party, later identified as Ms. Amanda Hebert, lying on her back on the second-floor exterior walkway,โ Officer Ramos said.
According to police, Amanda L. Hebert, 34, is a resident of Leominster, MA.
โI approached Ms. Hebert and spoke with her,โ Officer Ramos said. โMs. Hebert advised she was great, but appeared partially disoriented. Ms. Hebert, during this time, did not wish for medical attention, although the fire department was present.โ
Officer Ramos said an employee of the Leominster Motor Inn, Indira, approached him while he was on the second floor.
โI spoke with [Indira], and she decided Ms. Hebert would be trespassed indefinitely from the property,โ Officer Ramos said. โMs. Hebert was within earshot and aware of the notice of trespass.โ
Officer Ramos noted that Hebert said she was staying in Room 157 but did not have a key. As a courtesy, he asked staff to open the door because Indira had documentation indicating that Hebert was staying in the room.
โDuring my interactions, I observed Ms. Hebert struggle to keep her balance [which is] consistent with narcotic intoxication,โ Officer Ramos said. โMs. Hebert entered the room and believed she was still in control of the room, although she had already been trespassed from the property.โ
Officer Ramos told Hebert to collect her belongings.
โMs. Hebert attempted to control the interaction, which prompted me to direct her again to collect her belongings. I issued her a warning that she would be subject to arrest,โ Officer Ramos said. โThese directions were given to Ms. Hebert in an effort to warn her and persuade her compliance with a lawful command.โ
Officer Ramos said Hebert gathered numerous belongings, put them down, and walked into the restroom. When she exited the bathroom, she began grabbing items from a dresser drawer.
โI approached the dresser to see what she was grabbing,โ Officer Ramos said. โI observed plungers for syringes and a small piece of tin foil. Based on my training and experience, this was consistent with narcotics use.โ
Officer Ramos added that a Leominster police officer recently had an unprotected exposure from an uncapped needle possessed by Hebert.
โI determined Ms. Hebert was potentially in possession of needles, which could be used against officers,โ Officer Ramos said.
Officer Ramos directed Hebert to put the items down.
โI ordered Ms. Hebert numerous times to get out of the room as well as to exit the property,โ Officer Ramos said. โMs. Hebert refused to exit the property, as her primary concern was about her other shoe.โ
Officer Ramos said Hebert became physically uncooperative and combative as he attempted to escort her from the property.
โMs. Hebert threw a personal bag in the direction of Officer Brandon Carlson and began using expletives,โ Officer Ramos said. โI determined Ms. Hebert to be aggressive and combative in nature.โ
At this time, Officer Ramos informed Hebert that she was under arrest for trespassing.
โI directed Ms. Hebert onto the ground and continued issuing her commands to gain her compliance,โ Officer Ramos said. โMs. Hebert tensed her muscles and used physical resistance to prevent an arrest. Ms. Hebert kicked me numerous times with red slippers on during the arresting procedure.โ
Officer Ramos handcuffed Hebert behind her back.
โMs. Hebert was grabbing onto my hand against my will. I requested a supervisor during this interaction as well,โ Officer Ramos said. โMs. Hebert continued her resistant behavior and began screaming, demanding water.โ
Officer Ramos noted that the door was open and other guests were present in the hotel.
โI utilized a wrist lock on Ms. Hebert in an attempt to gain compliance through pain, but I determined it to be ineffective due to the apparent narcotics she had consumed,โ Officer Ramos said. Adding, โWhile Ms. Hebert was creating unreasonably loud noises, the Leominster Fire Department was present and looking at her.โ
Officer Ramos said he removed Hebert from the hotel room and attempted to escort her down the stairs, but she continued thrashing around and resisting him.
โMs. Hebert, on the way down the stairs, put her legs on the railing instead of walking down the stairs in an orderly fashion,โ Officer Ramos said. โThis prompted Officer Carlson and me to carry her down. Ms. Hebert continued her tumultuous behavior until being placed into the cruiser and transported to the Leominster Police Department.โ
Amanda Hebert, 34, of Leominster, was arrested and charged with the following:
- Trespass
- Assault & Battery on Police Officer
- โMs. Hebert, during the arrest procedure, grabbed my hand against my will,โ Officer Ramos explained.
- Assault & Battery with Dangerous Weapon
- โMs. Hebert kicked me numerous times with red slippers on her feet,โ Officer Ramos said.
- Disorderly Conduct
- Resist Arrest
- Assault with Dangerous Weapon
- โMs. Hebert threw a personal bag in the direction of Officer Carlson,โ Officer Ramos said.
Hebert did not appear for her arraignment scheduled for June 15, 2026, in Leominster District Court and a default warrant was issued for her arrest.
