
NORTH ANDOVER — On July 24, 2026, at approximately 8:10 a.m., North Andover police and firefighters responded to a three-vehicle crash near 1043 Turnpike Street.
Acting Police Chief Stephen Diminico and Fire Chief John Weir reported that two of the vehicles had overturned, including a van with its driver trapped inside.
Firefighters stabilized the van with rescue struts, removed the windshield to reach the driver and safely extricated the driver from the vehicle.
The drivers of both overturned vehicles were taken by ambulance to local hospitals with injuries that appeared to be minor, Acting Chief Diminico and Cheif Weir said.

All three vehicles were towed from the scene, and emergency crews subsequently cleared the scene.
No additional injuries were reported.
The Middleton Fire Department and Lawrence General Hospital’s Paramedic Intercept 2 assisted at the scene.
The cause of the crash is being investigated by the North Andover Police Department.
