SHREWSBURY โ On Tuesday, June 16, 2026, Shrewsbury Police Sergeant Lawrence Napolitano stopped a green 2010 Subaru Forester on Boston Turnpike after allegedly observing that it did not have a current inspection sticker.

The driver was identified as Matthew Peltier, 34, of Worcester.
“During a roadside investigation, Mr. Peltier was found to be in possession of approximately 1.07 grams of cocaine in a knotted baggie,” Sergeant Napolitano said.
Peltier was arrested and charged with:
- Possess Class B Drug (Subsequent Offense)
Peltier was arraigned in Westborough District Court on June 17, 2026. Following his arraignment, he was released on personal recognizance.
Peltier’s next court date is a pretrial hearing scheduled for Aug. 28, 2026.
