WEBSTER — On Friday, July 17, 2026, at approximately 11:48 a.m., Webster police officers responded to the area of 43 Pleasant Street following a report of a fight in progress.
According to the Webster Police Department, when officers arrived on scene, they observed several people arguing on the sidewalk. One of the individuals involved, identified by police as Christopher Palmerino, 41, of Pleasant Street, walked quickly into his apartment and closed the door after seeing the officers.
Police learned that Palmerino had been arguing with several people outside, and when a bystander tried to intervene, Palmerino struck the victim in the face.
Palmerino then went inside his apartment, retrieved a cooking pan, and returned outside, where he attempted to strike the victim with the pan.
Officers brought the situation under control, and initially, the victim did not want to press charges, the Webster Police Department reported.
Approximately two hours later, police returned to the area of 43 Pleasant Street following another report of a disturbance in progress. One of the responding officers, Patrick Trainor, allegedly arrived to find Palmerino attempting to fight several people.
The Webster Police Department reported that, at one point, Palmerino kicked one of the victims in the groin with shoes on, right in front of Officer Trainor. After seeing this, Officer Trainor placed Palmerino under arrest.
Christopher Palmerino, 41, of Pleasant Street, Webster, was arrested and charged with the following:
- Assault with a Dangerous Weapon
- Assault & Battery with a Dangerous Weapon
- Disorderly Conduct
- Disturbing the Peace
