SOUTHBRIDGE — Five people were arrested and another faces an obstruction charge after police allegedly seized fentanyl, crack cocaine, methamphetamine, ammunition and $3,864 cash during an investigation on Dean Street last Wednesday.
At approximately 11:40 a.m. on Sept. 2, 2026, Southbridge police detectives and officers, assisted by a Webster Police Department K9 unit, executed a narcotics-related search warrant at 16 Dean Street, Apartment 2F.
According to the Southbridge Police Department, during the investigation, police seized approximately 53 grams of suspected fentanyl, 63 grams of suspected crack cocaine, additional suspected cocaine, suspected methamphetamine, numerous controlled prescription medications, approximately $3,864 cash suspected to be drug proceeds, ammunition, and packaging materials consistent with drug distribution.
The following individuals were arrested on scene:

Emmanuel Soto, 35, of 16 Dean Street, Apartment 2F, Southbridge, was charged with:
- Trafficking in heroin/fentanyl
- Trafficking in cocaine
- Possession with intent to distribute a Class B drug (cocaine)
- Possession with intent to distribute a Class C drug, subsequent offense
- Possession with intent to distribute a Class E drug, subsequent offense
- Possession of Class B drug (methamphetamine)
- Unlawful possession of ammunition
- Violation of an abuse prevention order

Vianca Rodriguez, 29, of 16 Dean Street, Apartment 1F, Southbridge, was charged with:
- Trafficking in heroin/fentanyl
- Trafficking in cocaine
- Possession with intent to distribute a Class B drug (cocaine)
- Possession with intent to distribute a Class C drug
- Possession with intent to distribute a Class E drug
- Possession of Class B drug (methamphetamine)
- Unlawful possession of ammunition

Mistirain B. Regimbal, 33, of 16 Dean Street, Apartment 3F, Southbridge, was charged with:
- Possession of a Class B drug, subsequent offense (cocaine)
- Warrant arrest for a charge of possession with intent to distribute Class B drug (cocaine)

Gerard Shonbeck, 38, of 16 Dean Street, Apartment 2F, Southbridge, was charged with:
- Possession of a Class B drug, subsequent offense (cocaine)

Chloe E. Bright, 34, of 8 Westwood Drive, Sturbridge, was taken into custody on an outstanding probation violation warrant.
A 40-year-old man from Dudley was issued a summons to appear in Dudley District Court on a charge of obstruction of justice.
Those arrested were transported to the Southbridge Police Department for booking and held pending their release on bail and/or their arraignment in Dudley District Court, according to the Southbridge Police Department.
