SOUTHBRIDGE — On Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2026, at approximately 10:40 a.m., Southbridge Police detectives, patrol officers, and the department’s K9 “Vice” executed a search warrant for narcotics at 63 Highland Street.
According to the Southbridge Police Department, as a result of the search, police recovered over 214 grams of suspected cocaine, Adderall, psilocybin/mushroom edibles, sildenafil, and ecstasy (MDMA), all packaged for distribution, along with a Smith & Wesson .38 Special revolver, numerous rounds of live ammunition, a digital scale, other packaging paraphernalia, and $1,752 in cash suspected to be drug proceeds.
The Southbridge Police Department said the investigation resulted in the arrest of Kenneth Massey and Ashley Rivera, who both reside at 63 Highland Street.
Kenneth T. Massey Jr., 37, of 63 Highland Street, was arrested and charged with the following:
- Trafficking cocaine over 200 grams
- Possession with intent to distribute Class B drug (Adderall)
- Possession with intent to distribute Class C drug (psilocybin)
- Possession of Class E drug (sildenafil)
- Possession of Class B drug (MDMA)
- Possession of a firearm without an LTC/FID
- Unlawful possession of ammunition
- Improper storage of a firearm
Ashley M. Rivera, 31, of 63 Highland Street, was arrested and charged with the following:
- Trafficking cocaine over 200 grams
- Possession with intent to distribute Class B drug (Adderall)
- Possession with intent to distribute Class C drug (psilocybin)
- Possession of Class B drug (MDMA)
- Possession of a firearm without an LTC/FID
- Unlawful possession of ammunition
- Improper storage of a firearm
Rivera and Massey were transported to police headquarters pending their arraignment in Dudley District Court.
The Southbridge Police Department said all suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
