UXBRIDGE – On Monday, Aug. 10, 2026, at approximately 11:10 a.m., Uxbridge Police Officer Michael White responded to a residence on Douglas Street to take a report of a restraining order violation.

When Officer White arrived on scene, he said he met with a woman who informed him that she received a Facebook friend request from Jake DeLang.
According to police, Jake Everett DeLang, 26, is a resident of Uxbridge, MA.
Officer White said DeLang had been served with a restraining order by Uxbridge Police Officer Peter Gallerani on or around March 24, 2026. The order, which expires on March 24, 2027, prohibits DeLang from contacting the reporting party.
“I had [the reporting party] fill out a voluntary statement about the incident and what made her believe that the Facebook was his,” Officer White said. “[She] said that the Facebook profile had his picture and she believes he may be at a rehab facility not following the rules.”
Officer White said the reporting party told him she had screenshots of the account from when it sent her a friend request. She said the profile picture had since been changed, but she recognized the account as belonging to DeLang.
Officer White said that due to DeLang’s attempted contact with the protected party and the protected party’s sworn statement, he requested that a summons be issued charging DeLang with the following:
- Violation of a Restraining Order: “Jake Delang violated Section 2 of the abuse prevention order by contacting [the protected party] through Facebook,” Officer White explained.
