Two die in Templeton after car crashes into residence Sunday morning

TEMPLETON — Two of three passengers in a vehicle that crashed into a residence on Baldwinville Road Sunday morning were pronounced dead at the scene.

According to a press release from the Templeton Police Department issued Sunday afternoon, the accident was reported at 1:55 a.m. in the area of 502 Baldwinville Road.

“When officers arrived on scene it was discovered that there were three occupants in the vehicle and significant damage to a residence,” wrote Chief Michael Bennett of the Templeton Police Department in a press release. “Templeton Fire Department paramedics arrived and two of the three occupants were pronounced deceased at the scene.”

The surviving occupant was transported to Heywood Hospital with serious injuries.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
