Attleboro Police Seek Suspect in Church Theft

Attleboro Police are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying a suspect who stole three aluminum tables from The Coptic Holy Family Church on South Main Street. The theft, valued at around $3,000, occurred Tuesday evening.

Church surveillance footage revealed a vehicle, believed to be a Ford pickup truck, with a U-Haul trailer attached. Attleboro Police Chief Kyle Heagney said, “Larceny from a church is simply evil,” urging the public to come forward with any information.

Anyone who recognizes the vehicle is asked to contact Officer Michael Antunes at 508-222-1212.
