LEOMINSTER — Good Samaritans helped extract the driver of a severely damaged vehicle that rolled over on Route 2 Thursday morning.
The accident took place on Dec. 28 at about 7 a.m. on Route 2 East where it intersects with Abbott Avenue, the Sentinel & Enterprise reported.

The Leominster police and fire departments, as well as State Police, responded to the accident. When they arrived on scene, the driver had already been extracted from the vehicle.
Officials say no one else was involved in the accident.
The driver was transported to an area hospital. It’s unknown how severe the driver’s injuries are, but first responders said the individual had visible facial injuries.
