LEOMINSTER — On Thursday, Nov. 27, 2025, Officer Braden Carlson of the Leominster Police Department was dispatched to a residence on Grove Avenue following a report of an unwanted guest.

Officer Carlson said 65-year-old Donna Wilson, a resident of the Grove Avenue address police were called to, had been arrested by Leominster police the previous day for domestic assault against her daughter, Danielle, who also lives at the address.
Officer Carlson said that one of the conditions of Donna’s release was that she could not contact the witness in the case, her daughter, until after her court date, which was scheduled for the following day on Nov. 28, 2025.
“Upon my arrival tonight, I was met by Donna’s stepdaughter,” Officer Carlson said. “She informed me that upon being released from the Leominster Police Department, Donna immediately returned home. She told me tonight Donna again came back to the home and accessed the home through a window, which was a violation of her release conditions.”
Officer Carlson said Donna’s stepdaughter then invited him inside to speak with Donna.
“Upon locating Donna, we asked her if she had the paperwork for her release. She presented the paperwork which clearly stated to stay away and have no contact with Danielle,” Officer Carlson said. “At this time, Danielle came out of her room to speak with us.”
Officer Carlson said that immediately after seeing Danielle, Donna began repeatedly calling her names, including “skinny rat b*tch.”
“Donna called Danielle this [i.e., skinny rat b*tch] multiple times and started stating that she was going to ‘get hers’ and evict her for this,” Officer Carlson said. “Danielle was in the room next to us and heard these statements. Donna, in my presence, repeatedly called Danielle a ‘rat’ and a ‘b*tch.’ We informed Donna multiple times she was not allowed to speak to Danielle, but Donna continued calling her names and threatening her with eviction.”
Officer Carlson said that, at this time, he placed Donna under arrest for witness intimidation.
“While attempting to handcuff Donna she began to resist the arrest process. She tucked her arms in close to her torso to prevent us from placing her in handcuffs and dropped all her weight to the ground,” Officer Carlson said. “Officer [Daniel] Parrish had to pull her legs so she would lay flat. She continued to pull her arms away from us while being handcuffed.”
Officer Carlson said that while attempting to handcuff Donna she began kicking at the arresting officers and managed to strike Officer Robert Connors.
After Donna was handcuffed, Officer Carlson said Officer Connors “immediately checked the cuffs for tightness and proper fit before double locking them.”
“Before walking Donna to the patrol vehicle, she again started yelling names at Danielle telling her she ‘Would regret doing this,’” Officer Carlson said. “Danielle heard these statements as well.”
Donna was then transported to the Leominster Police Department for booking.
Officer Carlson and Officer Nicholas Rice remained on scene to speak with Danielle.
“Danielle informed us that she and her daughter are in fear around Donna. She stated that Donna is an alcoholic and when she drinks, she yells at everyone in the house,” Officer Carlson said.
Officer Carlson said that since Danielle expressed concern that Donna’s name-calling made her fear retaliation or harm to herself or her child, he advised Danielle about an emergency 209A (abuse prevention order) and explained the steps to obtain one.
“After leaving the home, Danielle came to the Leominster Police Department to file an emergency 209A,” Officer Carlson said. “I had Danielle fill out a 209A complaint packet in my presence. I then called on call judge, Honorable Edward Karcasinas, who granted the order. Danielle was given a copy of this order and Donna was served this order while in the holding cell of the Leominster Police Department. A copy of the restraining order was then placed with Donna’s belongings.”
Donna J. Wilson was arrested and charged with the following:
- Witness/Juror/Police/Court Official, Intimidate
- Assault & Battery on Police Officer
- Resist Arrest
Donna was arraigned in Leominster District Court on Nov. 28, 2025. Following her arraignment, she was released under the condition that she comply with the abuse prevention order, remain alcohol free, and submit to screens.
Donna’s next court date is a pretrial hearing scheduled for Jan. 8, 2026.
Disclaimer: If you are wondering why the arrest in this story took place in November, that’s because I had to file FOIA request(s) to obtain the court documents. FOIAs are time-consuming.
