CLINTON — On Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2023, at about 6 p.m., the Clinton Police Department received a 911 call from a man who said that as he was shopping at the Walgreens located at 720 Main Street, he witnessed two men fill up a duffel bag full of Claritin before leaving the store on foot.

According to the Clinton Police Department, the reporting party, Paul Waguespack, 41, of Clinton, said the clerk followed the men out of the store. He described the men as dark-skinned with beards, wearing hats, dark green hoodies, and sweatpants.

A Walgreens employee was called to the scene to identify the suspects. After they were identified, the men were arrested for shoplifting.

The suspects were later identified as Jeremiah James Whack, 21, of 1677 President Street, Apt. 21 in New York, NY, and Kyle Charles Morgan, 22, 5401 Third Avenue, Apt. 505, Bronx, NY.
