BOSTON — A Leominster man was sentenced to six years in jail in federal court in Worcester for distributing and possessing large quantities of counterfeit Adderall pills containing methamphetamine.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts, Chanhda Onesyvieng, 49, was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Margaret R. Guzman on March 6, 2024. Onesyvieng pled guilty to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine in July 2023.
In April 2023, investigators identified Onesyvieng as a drug dealer who was distributing vast quantities of meth disguised as Adderall in Rhode Island.
During a traffic stop in Worcester on April 28, 2023, police located and seized approximately two kilograms of counterfeit Adderall pills containing methamphetamine and roughly 135 grams of cocaine from his vehicle.
Police then searched Onesyvieng’s residence in Leominster where they seized approximately one kilogram of meth pills disguised to look like Adderall, approximately one kilogram of cocaine, and $60,000 in cash.
